Once again this year, Anacortes residents were treated to an impressive fireworks display over Fidalgo Bay. This year’s John Curtis Memorial Fireworks Display even got started a bit earlier than in recent years. Thanks to all who made the show possible!

Wedding day fireworks

Today I post this photo in honor of Robert and Melissa, who were married Saturday afternoon in Hoodsport, Washington. I took this photo during the reception, when one of the groomsmen put on a brief fireworks display over the water. Melissa was daughter Kirsten’s college roommate. Kirsten served Saturday as her maid of honor.
