Urban cottage
Anyone who visits or drives by Flounder Bay Arts on 3rd Street in downtown Anacortes must have noticed this handsome little “cottage” next door. I’m not sure of its purpose, but I know it would make a great little business office.

I was drawn Wednesday morning by the blue neon above the door, but it was the beautiful woodwork at the entry to Flounder Bay Arts that inspired me to take this photograph.

Flounder Bay greeting
This colorful little guy is a “greeter” at the Flounder Bay Cafe at Skyline. He stands between the lounge and the dining area in the restaurant, which features fresh seafood and a great view of Skyline Marina.
