Gallery extends celebration due to snow

Viewed from the sidewalk is the Scott Milo Gallery, combining the Anacortes First Friday Art Walk with a 25th anniversary celebration. Numerous galleries, shops and businesses participate as hosts for the monthly downtown art walk. See more photos “In the News.”

Street greeting

Greeting diners at the Gere-a-Deli restaurant is this bouquet-bearing sculpture by Philip Glashoff, who has a number of other unique creations available at Insights Gallery on Commercial Avenue.

Gallery window

If you and your dog share an outing, stop by the Anne Martin McCool Gallery at 711 Commercial Avenue. You’ll both get a kick out of this colorful window display, titled “Dog Walkers,” by Audrey Roll. The gallery is open Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Sundays by appointment.
