New life for cannery?
This Guemes Channel cannery, built in 1915, is the proposed site for a hotel and restaurant. The building is located at shore’s edge, at the end of “D” Avenue. Owners and project proponents are Gems LLC, owners of the Star Bar restaurant in downtown Anacortes.
