A coat of paint is always nice, especially on the city’s main street, but Marine Supply and Hardware took the next step, putting a new face on signs and wall lettering. Looks great!

Downtown pedestrian traffic rarely includes children these days. Must have something to do with readin’, writin’ and arithmetic. An assignment took me to Marine Supply and Hardware, where a shopping trip is like stepping back in time. This is a fascinating third generation Anacortes business.
It’s hard to miss this window display at Marine Supply and Hardware on the extreme north end of Commercial Avenue. This historic store is a treat. Check it out.
