Often on our drives from Anacortes to/from “the east side” we play a little game we call “Hawk Patrol,” counting hawks as we go. There are many hawks along the Highway 20 corridor, but even more when you travel into Skagit farm areas.
Members of the Anacortes High School Marching Band get around. On Saturday, April 24 they contributed their music skills to the Holland Happening parade in downtown Oak Harbor. Other out of town bands included student musicians from Lynden and Ferndale. Go Hawks!
