Trail’s end, Fidalgo shoreline

This small patch of flat green earth has been the destination of many hikers in Skagit County’s Sharpe Park on Fidalgo Island. Those who reach it take in a sweeping view to the west, and rugged cliffs to the north and south.

Bowman Bay recreation

Summer sunshine draws people outdoors, as evidenced here on a recent visit to Bowman Bay on south Fidalgo Island. Anacortes Kayak Tours is operating again with restrictions, and area parks including Deception Pass State Park are open. Good to get out of the box!
