Just a sliver of Oyster Run
The annual Oyster Run event that typically draws thousands of motorcyclists to downtown Anacortes was cancelled due to the pandemic. A midafternoon run through the area revealed only a few dozen bikes.

Color on the bluff
Probably my favorite wildflower is the “Indian Paintbrush,” a Northwest beauty that loves rocky terrain and lots of sun. This plant is among many just a short distance from Deception Pass Bridge.
