Sunny day scenes from Rosario

What a joy it is to live just a few minutes away from island gems such as this: Rosario Beach. On this hike I encountered a couple visiting from Seattle and a young man scoping the area for fishing spots. A few folks stopped to take a view seat on the trail to Bowman Bay.

Beautiful Bowman

The surface of Bowman Bay sparkles in the sun as this pair of kayakers starts a late September adventure from the beach. This is a wonderful part of Deception Pass State Park, divided by the swirling waters of the pass but accessible by bridges.
