Sun through trees

I’m a sucker for tree-lined streets. I discovered fall sunshine streaming through the branches of dozens of trees on this residential street just a few blocks from downtown Lynden. Natural beauty … safe streets for our children. Two of the assets that make Anacortes such a wonderful place to raise a family.

Postal art

Back of Baker

I realize it’s a matter of perspective, but to me this is the back of Mt. Baker. I took this photograph Sunday evening during a visit to Lynden, our “Dutch neighbor” in Whatcom County.
