Mountain water

With steady rainfall, “waterfalls” such as this are too many to number at the base of Fidalgo Island’s beautiful Mt. Erie. Water levels are rising in lakes including Campbell, Heart and Erie.

Backroad beauty

I deviated from my usual route this morning and was rewarded with beautiful views along the shore of Heart Lake. This photo was taken from road’s edge looking back toward the Mt. Erie turnoff.
