My walks/hikes always find me scanning for birds, high and low. This representation of three outings includes an osprey, bald eagle, house finch, red wing blackbird and sandpiper.
It was a great day. A number of oystercatchers arrived at the beach near the ferry terminal, content to have me photograph them as they moved along the shoreline, drinking occasionally from the fresh water coming from the bluff above. A beautiful bird!

Same outing, different birds. Hawk on the north side of Highway 20, snow geese on the south side in a field just beyond the Swinomish Channel. Winged beauties brightening up an already bright March day.
