Just as this sailboat sailed away from Anacortes Saturday morning, the year 2006 is sailing away today, Sunday, December 31. This one flew by, didn’t it? I’m beginning to believe my 81-year-old dad, who suggests ever-so-bluntly that the pages of the calendar disappear at an increased speed as one grows older.
