Ferry prop
Dock activity is brisk today at the Port of Anacortes. The state ferry Hyak, pictured here, is in drydock. Crowley has a large vessel moored at Curtis Wharf and there is a vessel at Pier II being loaded with petroleum coke from Shell Puget Sound Refinery.

Shiny prop
A shiny new prop and fresh paint stand as evidence of a major renovation project for the Kittitas, a state ferry drydocked at the Port of Anacortes. Dakota Creek Industries currently has crews working on two state ferries.
