Spring blush

Sure, we’ve had to scrape our windshields several mornings recently, but it really is spring, as evidenced by the buds on this rhododendron bush. Many gardeners have already started work in anticipation of the season’s full bloom.

Rhody’s ready

Whoa! Where did March go? This bud, the first of two blossoms on a rhododendron bush in the garden, tells the story of what’s to come … lots of glorious color … and “opportunities” to spend some quality time with garden tools.

Rhody to the rescue

A visit to my talented friends at How It Works was made brighter today by this blooming rhody, a welcome splash of color in an otherwise green and gray winter environment. Nice to see a little color on the pallete. Landscaping at the graphics house is gorgeous, and particularly colorful in the spring.
