What an amazing afternoon at Rosario Beach, the Fidalgo side of Deception Pass State Park. The powerful combination of wind and sea are always impressive.

It was “fish on!” at the dock at Rosario Beach Park the other day when I visited for photos of the Rosario marine station, a satellite campus of Walla Walla College.
The combination of sun, free time and amazing tidepools draws thousands each summer to Rosario Beach on South Fidalgo. Standing in the foreground of this photo are interpretive signs to help educate those on their way to a shoreline adventure.
