While thousands of Anacortes residents sat home in front of their televisions, this wise couple made the most of a gorgeous Sunday evening, taking a romantic stroll on the esplanade at Cap Sante Boat Haven.
It’s a win-win situation at Cap Sante Boat Haven, where the volume of summer boating activity calls for extra help on staff. Summer employment also gives these young people a chance to make some money and build their resumes.
Early morning is a wonderful time to stroll through downtown Anacortes, dressed this season with colorful banners and flower baskets. It’s fun to watch the business community come alive.
Summer begins today, so the level of traffic will likely grow at Anacortes Public Library as young people tap into this rich resource of books, magazines, music, film and technology.
