Welcome sunshine
I was up early Saturday morning, and out of the house in time to enjoy the light of the rising sun. When days are short it’s nice to enjoy as much daylight as possible. This city perspective is familiar to most … the view from Cap Sante on the northeast corner of the city.

Appropriate name
In terms of today’s weather forecast, the name on the stern of this boat at Cap Sante North Basin says it all. It was a “scorcher” by northwest Washington standards Thursday, and reports say we’ll hit 90 degrees today. Grab your Foster Grants and some sun block…
