It was just about dinner time on Thanksgiving when this beautiful rainbow appeared, planting one foot in downtown Anacortes. Minutes later there was a double rainbow, the outer arch more faint than the first. To our delight, the rainbow lingered with strong, vibrant bands of color for quite awhile.
This volunteer crew and dozens of others gave of themselves on Thanksgiving Day, leaving their homes to help prepare a meal for those less fortunate.
