Tide is out … and so is the sun! Ship Harbor in Anacortes, Monday afternoon.
It was a “puppy pile,” sea star style. I discovered this group of “starfish” Wednesday afternoon during an extremely low tide at Cap Sante Boat Haven. Seahawk purple, of course. Our scuba diving friends tell us there are many, many treasures like this lying just beneath the surface of the water.
There’s no float left for the Enchantress, a derelict tug abandoned in Fidalgo Bay at the site of the former Anacortes Plywood Mill. High tide on Tuesday morning found the vessel partially submerged.
