My destination was Kukutali Preserve, but it’s still closed due to COVID-19 restrictions. On to LaConner and through Skagit farmlands.
Now this truck would be a restoration challenge. I love to take photos of old cars and trucks, but most of the vehicles I frame up have a little less “character” – at least of the type provided by long-term exposure to weather. This is a General Motors truck, year of model undetermined.
It’s been a few days since the Fourth of July parade, but I was drawn to this photo because it’s all about America … an old flatbed, bunting, flags and kids. This community gathered and had fun that day. I wish there were many more like it.
