Volunteers honored
A colorful Valentine’s Day theme greeted volunteers at the Salvation Army Anacortes Corps Friday for a luncheon held in their honor. Volunteers range from individuals to service clubs, with contributions including truck deliveries, Food Bank service and Christmas Kettle bell-ringing. About three dozen people attended the luncheon, hosted by Majors Jerry and Carol Forney.
