A Lady Washington crew member speaks to disembarking mates from the rigging of the tall ship replica, which arrived in Anacortes Monday night. The ship, which has appeared in feature films including Pirates of the Caribbean, is based in Grays Harbor, Washington.
This happy-go-lucky crew of four puttered by the Lady Washington shortly after she docked at Cap Sante Boat Haven Monday around 8:25 p.m. I grabbed my camera as I hadn’t heard about the Lady arriving, and suspected she might be leaving early in the morning. I always enjoy seeing her rigging silouetted against the sky.
It was a beautiful morning at Washington Park, where activities ranged from boat launching to walking the loop. The couple pictured here stepped out onto the rocks opposite the public boat launch for a “photo op.” Trips to Washington Park are guaranteed to produce warm memories.
