U.S. Navy hosts Community Open House

What a day! After a three-year hiatus due to COVID restrictions, the U.S. Navy base in Oak Harbor opened its gates today for a well-attended Community Open House featuring SAR helicopters, electronic warfare aircraft, static displays, NW Navy Band, food, games and informational booths. Smiles all ’round. Fly Navy!

Heritage Flight Museum was founded in 1996 by William “Bill” and Valerie Anders. The museum’s vintage aircraft collection began with the P-51 Mustang “Val-Halla” and has steadily grown.
