“Swell food for salty dogs” is one of the messages recently hand-painted on the front of the Adrift restaurant in downtown Anacortes. While Adrift builds its clientele, work continues on the Majestic Hotel down the street, and on the former Harbor Restaurant (now P.W. Murphy’s Restaurant) a couple of blocks away. It’s a busy neighborhood, and it will continue to get busier as seasonal visitors begin to stream into town.
