Friends of Library hosts art exhibit

The Friends of the Anacortes Library Art Committee presents an exhibit of works by local artists from January 2 through March 2020, in the Friends Community Meeting Room. Artists include: Donald Caldwell, Stephen Cheng, Anne Elkins, Kathleen Faulkner, Audrey Garbacik, Jan Hodgman, Jazz Morgan, Marcia Neu, Cynthia Richardson, Aimee Rudge, and Marcel Schwarb, and Gary R. Smith. Artworks are for sale and will benefit the Friends of the Library. Meet the artists Saturday, January 4, 1 p.m. Public viewing hours: January-March, 1st & 3rd Wednesdays, 2nd & 4th Saturdays, 1-2 p.m. The library closes early, at 4 p.m., New Year’s Eve, and will be closed Wednesday, New Year’s Day.
