Quantum Construction of Anacortes recently embarked on a major project with the laying of a 33,000 square foot pad for Corporate Air Center at Skagit Regional Airport. With the assistance of a team of subcontractors assembled from this area, Quantum brought in more than 100 truckloads of cement for the January 26 pour. This project, estimated to be complete in the fall, will increase hangar and service space for the existing business. A pre-engineered, custom-build steel building will be erected to more than double the size of the current facility. Quantum Construction is General Contractor of the project, with Josh Baldwin acting as Project Manager and Greg Latta as on-site Superintendent.
