King Richard

Brother Richard scored big Sunday in the San Juans, returning with this 25-pound King. Still waiting on details. I’m sure the story will get better with each passing day. Hope to score the family connection when this baby goes on the grill.

Disruption

Our Martin Luther King Day adventure off the island included a stop at Christianson’s Nursery, where this feathered beauty responded to my presence with a display of plumage. I was impressed, but not intimidated. We also saw trumpeter swans, but our schedule didn’t include an opening for a tromp in the fields.
