Vintage fire engine shines in parade

It was exciting to see the city’s vintage 1924 American LaFrance fire engine motoring up Commercial Avenue under its own power at the Anacortes Lions Christmas parade! Kudos to all who have spent many years restoring this beauty. Honored occupant on this “Walk with Santa” was Mayor Laurie Gere.
