Classic cars cruise Commercial

It was exciting Sunday afternoon to stumble onto a gathering of classic car/truck owners on Commercial Avenue. They rallied in front of historic Anacortes Marine Supply & Hardware, leaving at 3 p.m. to cruise south on Commercial, around the Highway 20 roundabout and back downtown. Good stuff.

Circle work

Crews worked late Friday afternoon on the “roundabout” at the south end of Commercial Avenue in Anacortes. Businesses south of 32nd Street continue to suffer reduced customer traffic as the project detours traffic in and out of the city. Please consider making your way to shops and restaurants including The Store and Bob’s Chowder House.
