Winds were strong Tuesday afternoon, pushing waves into the shoreline on Fidalgo Island beachfronts including this one at Skyline on the city’s west end.
I took this photograph of the fascinating Skyline community on the west end of Anacortes during a May flight with my friend. The state ferry terminal is visible at top, left. There are homes with marina slips, and some enjoy condo life on the shoreline.
This was the view of Skyline Saturday from the hilltop viewpoint at Washington Park. This is the largest neighborhood on the west side of the city.
