Seahawk in the hunt
My focus shifted quickly this morning from Guemes Ferry to osprey (seahawk) as this beauty flew into view on a hunting expedition. He made a few passages (incredible agility) before moving west along the shore of the Guemes Channel.

I got it straight from the horse’s mouth this week when local business owner Joey Goss confirmed that a Jimmy John’s sandwich shop is planned at the former location of Select Styling at 21st and Commercial Avenue. Look for developments (literally) this summer.
