A repair and resurfacing project is under way in the dunes area of Deception Pass State Park near Cranberry Lake. I had the good fortune this afternoon of watching an osprey “fish” local waters at the Guemes Trail. The tide was out so the action was quite a distance, but I had the opportunity to watch three dives … two yielding fish. It’s always a delight to watch this amazing bird.
