A statewide campaign sweep brought U.S. Senate candidate Tiffany Smiley to Anacortes Thursday. She spoke to a standing-room-only audience at Seafarers’ Memorial Park. Smiley is taking on incumbent Patty Murray, first elected in 1992. (Smiley is wearing tan coat.) The Republican candidate also visited Sedro-Woolley and LaConner during her Skagit County van tour.
