It was fun to see 1957 Anacortes Marineers Pageant Queen Judie Lewis Zersen in the recent 4th of July parade. Following the parade, however, I found out her driver/escort was none other than her grandson, U.S. Marine Corps Lance Corporal John Malquist, age 20. Smiles all ’round!
