There’s plenty of high ground on Fidalgo Island, so when it rains we see the creation of countless “mini waterfalls.” Beautiful.
I wasn’t expecting a day of sunshine, but when I pulled up the blinds I immediately determined to grab my camera and take a drive. Among photographic “rewards” were the sightings of four bald eagles, one pictured here as it leaves its shoreline perch. Also spotted two hawks, Canada geese and a number of shorebirds.
I never tire of taking photos of this derelict passenger car at rest in a Fidalgo Island pasture.
