A Monarch butterfly caught my eye, fluttering from plant to plant on the Fidalgo Island shoreline Tuesday evening.

Another beautiful morning walk on the shoreline of Fidalgo Island. Spring turns to summer. Sighted but not photographed: goldfinches, hummingbirds, osprey and cedar waxwing.
