‘Celebration of Trees’ fundraiser: 2007

Christmas past. A few photos from December 2007, when the Island Hospital Foundation and the Anacortes Chamber of Commerce hosted the “Celebration of Trees: Magic of Christmas” fundraising event. The Port of Anacortes was a partner as well, providing the Transit Shed as a venue, and the Ives Family lent Frosty the Snowman cutouts.

City celebrates new arch: July 2005

The Fourth of July 2005 was particularly memorable for Anacortes residents who took part in dedication of a new arch welcoming visitors to this island community. The Chamber of Commerce and City of Anacortes partnered to host a dedication party, followed by a gathering of citizens for the annual “Town Photo” by the Anacortes American.
